Andrew Lietner HarrisBIOGRAPHY: Andrew Leitner Harris of Preble Co., Ohio was Governor of Ohio from 1906 to 1909. He was a lawyer by profession and occupied many positions of honor and trust.
He was a Colonel in the Civil War and at the close was made a Brigadier General for bravery.
In a Democratic county of over 4,000 majority he was only defeated by about 100 votes when he ran for Congress. He was Lieutenant-Governor under McKinley and a close friend of his.
