Jerry married Ruth Elaine DAVIS, daughter of Roy DAVIS and Hannah Sophia BLOOMBERG, on August 3, 1947 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Salina, Saline County, Kansas.
Roy DAVIS is a descendent of the Hawks family that's been traced back to the Mayflower.
Hannah Sophia BLOOMBERG, is the descendent of Nils Frederick Andersson Blomberg (yes, just one O) Nils came to America from Sweden. Nils older brother Johan (John) changed his last name to Blomberg when he arrived in America. He wrote the family that there were too many Andersson's here.
