Death: May 12, 2001, Akron, Summit County, Ohio, USAJudy D. Conger (nee Dittmore), 61, of Peninsula, died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Akron General Medical Center.
She was born in Detroit, Mich., on Aug. 18, 1939, the daughter of Barry and Evelyn (nee Bettinghouse) Dittmore. Mrs. Conger graduated in 1966 from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. She was employed for 31 years as a math teacher at Revere High School, retiring in 1998. In addition to her teaching career, Judy also enjoyed boating, reading, and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth A.; son, Kenneth D. (Paula) of Stow; granddaughter, Kelly M.; sister, Sue (Jim) Glynn of Royal Oak, Mich.
Funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at Peninsula United Methodist Church, 1575 Main St., Peninsula, Rev. Lea Mahan presiding. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at Johnson-Romito, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St., Hudson, Tonight, 7 to 9.
