I am down the line from Dr. James Westfall Conger, Ira Frank Conger, Elva May (Conger) Hinningson (my mother).I married John Elden Menhusen in Kansas. We moved to Colorado in 1962. We lived up in the mountains over the Continental Divide. We ranched. Then Elden worked for a heavy equipment company. He ran the backhoe and other machinery. He passed away in Jan 1991.
I've been down in Lakewood, CO, a part of Denver, since 1996.
My oldest daughter and family live at Salome, AZ for 9 months of the year. They have several R.V. parks - for all the snow birds that go south for winter.
My other daughter lives in Alaska, down on the peninsula below Anchorage, along the Cooks Inlet. I like to spend summers up there. This time I will come home through Truax, Canada for the Conger reunion at my half-cousins. I've been there several times. They are great people.
