Frederic Panet M. Conger, sixty-nine, who was associated with the law firm of Burlingham, Veeder, Clark and Hupper from 1923 until his retirement in 1952, died Thursday night at his home, County Club Grounds, Dongan Hills, Staten Island.Mr. Conger was graduated from Williams College and Columbia University Law School.
He served on the Mexican border n 1916 and was a Captain in Infantry in World War I.
After the war, he was with the legal department of the United States Shipping Board for several years.
He was a member of the bar associations and was a member and former chairman of the board of the Goodhue Children's Center in Staten Island.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Mallett Conger; three sons, Frederic De Peyster, the Rev. George Mallett and John Peyton Conger, and two sisters, Miss Margaret Conger and Mrs. Arnold Knauth.
