Funeral services were conducted this afternoon for James E. Boughner, 80, of Monroe County, [OH] who died Friday at Barnesville General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. W.E. Yost of Marietta; two brothers, Mr. J.C. Boughner of Callahan, Fla., and Mr. Grover Boughner of Clarington; and the following children by a former marriage, Mrs. Adolph Price and Mrs. Gilbert Bradfield of Marietta; Mrs. C.G. Ludwig of Valley Stream, L.I., N.Y.; and Mr. Harold Boughner of Nashville, Tenns. Two children, Martha Boughner Henry and Herman Boughner are deceased. Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. in the Church of Christ in Cameron, with the Rev. J.V.A. Traylor conducting and the Harper-Campbell Funeral directors of Beallsville in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Cameron Cemetery.

OBITUARY: John David Henthorn Dies
Funeral services for John D. Henthorn will be held in the chapel of the Bauer - Turner home Friday afternoon at two with Minister J.V.A. Traylor officiating. Burial will be made in the Cameron cemetery.

Mr. Henthorn died at his home in Cameron Monday morning following a short illness. He was born at Cameron on Aug. 5, 1870, a son of Sylvester and Susan Morris Henthorn. A retired farmer he spent his entire life in the Cameron community where in his youth he became a member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife Alice Boughner Henthorn; two daughters, Mr. J.J. Smith, Lakeland, Florida, and Mrs. J.A. Pittman of Wooster; two sons, Ray Henthorn of Shadyside and Paul of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Case of Cleveland and Mrs. Loretta Vierheller of New Comerstown, also three grandchildren.

Ada M. Root, 69, 7972 Burbank Road, Wooster, OH, died Thursday, November 10, 1994 at her residence. She was born in Cameron on September 20, 1925 of John D. and Alice Jane Bouchner (?) Henthorn.

She was a past member of the Cameron Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death beside her parents was her first husband, James A. Pittman, and sister, Sarah Atkinson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; two sons, James P. Pittman, Rittman, and Dennis L. Pittman, Wooster, OH; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray Henthorn, Shadyside, and Paul Henthorn of Woodsfield.

Friends visited at Johnston-Schlabach Funeral Home at Shreve, OH on Saturday, Nov. 12, 1994 where services were held Sunday afternoon with Rev. Ray Headings officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve, OH.
