OBITUARY:
Edna Mae (Conger) Robley was born to William and Maggie (Lemon) Conger, November 9, 1909 at rural Fairfield, IA and passed away June 4, 1999 at Beverly Health Care Facility, Nebraska City, NE at age 89 years, 6 months and 25 days.

Edna moved to the rural Lyons [, NE] area with her family at age 2. She attended Moore and Viles schools and graduated from Lyons High School. She married Glen S. Robley in 1930. To this union three sons were born: Keith, Floyd and an infant who died at birth. Glen and Edna lived and farmed in the Lyons area until 1942 when they bought a filling station in Lyons and moved into town and added other businesses. Glen passed away in 1983.

Edna moved to Nebraska City in 1995, to an apartment especially built for her by her son Floyd in his home where she lived until her short illness.

Edna Mae Robley is preceded in death by her husband, Glen, her infant son, her parents, two brothers Dail and Darrel and one sister, Wilda Hollingsworth.

Survivors include two sons, Keith of Lyons and Floyd and wife, Doris, of Nebraska City, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

OBITUARY: Mrs. John Cordray Dead
The death of Mrs. John Cordray aged about 49, occurred Sunday, at her home in Reinersville [OH] vicinity, after a long illness with dropsy and heart and kidney disease.

It will be recalled that Mrs. Cordray's husband died the 7th of last August [1918].

Mrs. Cordray's maiden name was Ella Allen, and she was a sister of Mrs. W.A. Young of McConnelsville, who is the only surviving member of the family.

Mrs. Cordray leaves one son, Odis Cordray, who since the death of his father has been making his home with his mother. She also leaves two daughters, Mrs. John Ferguson of Bristol and Mrs. Chas. Lambert of Reinersville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning and interment was made at the Cross Roads cemetery.

OBITUARY: Wesley A. Young Dies from Heart Trouble
Wesley A. Young, a native of Neelyville and a former well-known grocer of McConnelsville, [OH], died Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock at his home on Jefferson street after being ill for a number of months from heart trouble. He had been retired from active work for some time but had been able to be around and about until recent weeks when a marked change came for the worse.

Mr. Young was the son of Lafayette and Jane Leggett Young and was born at Neelyville, October 1 [sic, should be 21, according to Zeta Young] 1882. This youth was spent in that vicinity where he was at one time employed at the T.J. Neely store.

Mr. Young and wife, the former Lucetta Allen of Cross Roads church vicinity, came to McConnelsville shortly after their marriage on September 23, 1905. For 21 years he conducted a grocery in the Durbin building and then located in Zanesville where he owned and operated a grocery for nine years on Abington Ave.

Mr. Young was a member of the Methodist church and of the Woodman lodge. He was a quiet, unassuming man, a good neighbor and a good citizen who enjoyed the respect of the community.

Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Parsons, wife of Capt. Cary Parsons; a son, Sgt. Raymond Young of Camp Livingston, La., now home on furlough; a granddaughter, Kathleen Parsons; and a brother, Melvin Young. One brother, Carlos, is deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence, Rev. L.S. Wees and Rev. Geo. E. Brown officiating. Interment will be made in the McConnelsville cemetery by pallbearers Jos. E. Cowan, Chas. A. Gaylord, H.J. Leggett, Harry G. Allen, Forest Tomson and H.B. Hopper.
