Vesta Lee Conger, daughter of Isaac and Emma, was born at the home east of Codell, [KS], April 22, 1893. She was the youngest of the nine Conger children. After local schools she went to a Kansas City school from which she graduated as a deaconess.Lee was married to Clarence P. Ellis, August 2, 1916 at the family home. To this union were born a son and a daughter: David Clarence and Elfra Maralee. This talented couple spent most of their years together working as evangelists in many different states. Their work was very rewarding and their friends were many. Upon retiring they moved to Pasadena, California where they spent their last years. Lee passed away on May 9, 1961.

Grant HollingsworthPACKWOOD, [IA] -- Grant Hollingsworth, 70, died at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, [IA] today at 7:15 a.m.
Born Sept. 10, 1895, in Keokuk County, [IA] he was the son of John and Belle Crowner Hollingsworth. He married Wilda Conger at Lyons, Neb., Dec. 25, 1927. She survives.
Mr. Hollingsworth was a farmer and member of the Ollie Baptist Church.
Besides the widow, survivors include: a son, Willis of Packwood; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Gott of Ollie and Mrs. Nellie Roach of Sioux Falls, S.D.; eight grandchildren, two brothers, Leslie of Ollie and Adna of Sigourney; and two sisters, Miss Nellie Hollingsworth and Mrs. Rhoda Lazenby, both of Ollie.
He was preceded in death by a son in infancy and two brothers.
The body is at Fremont Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 28, 1966, at 2 o'clock at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill, [NE]. Rev. J.G. Werner officated at the services. Mrs. Wilber Fuscher and Mrs. Dale Fuscher sang, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Anita Miller.Pall bearers were Herbert Beck, Irvin Burmester, George Miller, Norman Frey, Emmett Robertson and Vernon Cates.
Interment was in the Lyons Cemetery with Piper Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Obituary
Darrel Conger, son of William and Maggie Conger was born October 16, 1903 at Ioka, Iowa and passed away at his home near Lyons on October 25, 1966 at the age of 63 years and 9 days.
As a small child he moved with his parents to a farm near Lyons, [NE]. He spent the remainder of his life in the Lyons vicinity.
On October 28, 1946 he was united in marriage to Donna Redding at Walthill, Nebraska. Two children blessed this union.
Surviving are his wife, Donna, daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Marie) Mahnke of Munich, Germany, son Myron at home and one granddaughter, Melliney Mahnke of Munich, Germany. One brother, Dail Conger of Lyons, two sisters, Mrs. Wilda Hollingsworth of Packwood, Iowa, and Mrs. Edna Robley of Lyons, also a host of friends.
He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by many.
