Mary Jane Lawrence, nee Allen, was born February 15th, 1850, and died April 10th, 1898. She was united in marriage to Isaac P. Lawrence, Dec. 4th, 1867. She was the mother of eight children, 7 of whom survive. Deceased was an exemplary wife, a kind mother, and a an amiable and esteemed neighbor. The people generally sympathize with the bereaved husband and children, thus left to mourn their irreparable loss.
