Noah Conger

RECOLLECTIONS: Almon N. Conger, b. 1921, wrote on 6 Oct 1969, "I have an old account book that appears to have started in Dec. 1872. The fly leaf has the name 'Noah Conger.' The rest of the words are not very legible but appears to be Collins, Errie, N.Y.

"This book accounts states that a Kate Siebold commenced work March 13, 1873 and that in this year she was paid $82.12. This could indicate the need of female help during the time of illness or tragedy.
"This book also states that an A.D. Conger (Noah's father) was hired to draw stone. Also taht an Andrew Conger (Noah's brother) was hired to work. Also that father Conger was paid to thresh corn in 1873."
