BIOGRAPHY: Job Clifton Conger was 12 years old when his parents went to Audrain Co., MO. He attended college for awhile at South Haven, MI. Then, on 3 Feb 1864, he joined Co. M, 3rd Michigan Cavalry. He served two years and was wounded several times.
He returned to Missouri in 1868 and opened a mill at Centralia. He moved to Wellsville, MO in 1875 and was co-owner of the Garden City Mills with a Mr. Reed.
